The AustCham Business Awards 2009 were announced and presented at the President’s Luncheon, on Monday, 20 July at the Conrad Centennial Singapore. The most prestigious event in the AustCham calendar, The President’s Luncheon is the occasion where we honour excellence in Australian business in Singapore. The event was very well attended, by over 150 Australian and Singapore business, community and government leaders, with the Hon. Simon Crean MP, Australia’s Minister for Trade as Guest of Honour.

AustCham President’s Medal
The President’s Medal is the principal award presented at the lunch to the individual or association who has made a significant contribution to the Australian and Singaporean business community, or to the relationship between Australia and Singapore, or who has substantially facilitated investment or trade between our two countries.
The 2009 President’s Medal was presented by AustCham President, Nick Cocks, to ANZA (The Australian & New Zealand Association). The medal has a long history of worthy winners, all of whom are leaders in their industry.
