AustCham’s Launch Pad is a start-up focused series of events that covers key issues of relevance to members and entrepreneurs who are or plan to be engaged in start-up businesses in Singapore. Launch Pad events are intimate and informal workshops where attendees can engage with industry experts in a workshop style of environment. The series is organised in collaboration with the New Zealand Chamber of Commerce.

This workshop is limited to 16 participants who have an existing start-up or plan to start a business in Singapore.

Speaker: 

Philip Forrest

Philip Forrest has lived in South East Asia for over 35 years. After a career in banking he is now an independent company director focused on the Australia/ASEAN commercial relationship. He is a non-executive director of several Singapore companies, and one ASX-listed company (where he is also chairman of the audit committee).

He is a Fellow and member of the Governing Council of the Singapore Institute of Directors, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of CPA Australia, and an Honorary Fellow of the Australian Institute for Business and Economics.

He is a Board member of AustCham Singapore (president from 2000 to 2004), and a Director of AustCham ASEAN.
