ANZ Economic Outlook - Lion City to Roar in the Year of the Dog

After two years of subpar growth, the Singapore economy posted a robust 3.5% growth rate in 2017. Conditions for further improvement in 2018 appear to be falling into place. Singapore’s externally orientated sectors have been the first to benefit from the synchronised lift in the global economy, and a broadening into the domestic sector is expected this year. Khoon Goh, Head of Asia Research at ANZ, will discuss the outlook for the Singapore economy, as well as the risks and opportunities in the current environment.

Khoon Goh, Head of Asia Research for ANZ and Rosalind Mathieson, Executive Editor of International Government News for Bloomberg will discuss the outlook for the Singapore economy and how it has benefited from the synchronised lift in the global economy.
