Excellence in Leaders is our flagship business briefing series featuring key players in the Australian and international business community.

With previous speakers including Prime Ministers past and present and leaders of globally successful companies, these events connect you with the people who are shaping the world today.

ANZ Bank has a significant presence in Asia, with operations in 15 markets and a focus on supporting customers with trade and capital flows in the region. The bank recently completed the sale of its retail and wealth business in Singapore and five other markets in order to focus on Institutional banking, where it holds a number one position in Australia and New Zealand1, and top 4 spot in Asia2. ANZ has had a long history of 44 years in Singapore, which continues to be an important regional hub for ANZ and its customers as the gateway springboard for many Australian businesses into Asia and vice versa.

Shayne will discuss the crucial steps to strategize in the fast-changing business environment and the success in leading through change. He will also share his insights and knowledge on the opportunities from the result of the strengthening ties between Australia and ASEAN and the potential of expanding Australian businesses into Singapore and the region.
