Lunch with Senator the Hon Michaelia Cash, Minister for Jobs and Innovation

On 4th June we will be hosting a Lunch with the Minister for Jobs and Innovation, Senator the Hon Michaelia Cash.

The Australian Government has a strong focus on innovation, science and business policy with the recent budget including a $2.4 billion investment in growing Australia’s research, science and technology capabilities.

Senator the Hon Michaelia Cash, Minister for Jobs and Innovation

Senator the Hon Michaelia Cash is Minister for Jobs and Innovation, and has held this portfolio since December 2017. Senator Cash was previously the Minister for Employment, Minister for Women and Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for the Public Service between September 2015 and December 2017, and Assistant Minister for Immigration and Border Protection and the Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for Women from September 2013 to September 2015. In September 2010, Senator Cash was appointed to the dual roles of the Shadow Parliamentary Secretary for Immigration and the Shadow Parliamentary Secretary for the Status of Women. Senator Cash was Deputy Manager of Opposition Business in the Senate from September 2012 to August 2013. Senator Cash has also been actively involved in several Senate committees including as the Deputy Chairman of the Joint Statutory: Australian Commission for Law Enforcement Integrity. Senator Cash is a Liberal Senator for Western Australia. She was first elected in 2007 and commenced her term as a Senator on 1 July 2008.
