Manager, Government and Strategic Partnerships, Singapore

A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to lead government and strategic partnerships between Singapore and the Victorian Government Trade and Investment Network. The successful candidate will be a key point of contact between many stakeholders, including government and non-government organisations, trade delegations and other Victorian Government Trade and Investment offices. The successful candidate will also be responsible for producing regional insights and reports, as well as digital content in a variety of formats to promote engagement with the Victorian Government.

Reporting to the Commissioner for Victoria to South East Asia, this position requires the ability to build relationships with key organisations to increase Victorian partnerships, influence and opportunities. This role works collaboratively with colleagues based at Head Office in Melbourne and within the region.

Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will possess:

• Strong interpersonal and bilingual written communication skills, including proven consultation and negotiation abilities, to support the establishment and maintenance of cross-sector partnerships.
• Experience in digital marketing and content generation, communicating through a variety of social media platforms, including generating and assessing analytics reports and preparing targeted content for a range of  audiences.
• Experience in managing complex and sensitive issues and the provision of considered, strategic advice and solutions, often within short timeframes, as well as preparing briefings and business reports.

The successful candidate for this Locally Engaged Position will be responsible for all arrangements in relation to relocation expenses (if applicable), their accommodation and day-to-day living expenses.
