Slide1

Tell us about your business

TMX is a business transformation consultancy specialising in ecommerce, supply chain, property, project and program management services. Besides helping our customers formulate strategies to gain competitive advantage within their industries, our key differentiator lies in having a team of industry experts who implement practical and efficient solutions to deliver tangible improvements for their businesses. Those solutions could be anything from advice on digital visibility to a multi year transformation of a company’s supply chain. This could be through smart technology, investment in mobile automation or building new leading edge, efficient buildings.

What’s your role all about?

As President of Asia, my role is to oversee our expansion across Asia. We currently have teams in Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, and also projects in Hong Kong and Japan. We see a lot of opportunity in Asia and will continue to expand into markets where automation and new supply chain technologies are required  such as India and Thailand.

What’s the hot topic in your sector right now?

Supply chain disruptions caused by the pandemic, digital visibility across the supply chain and using automation to ensure that customer needs are met.

Why are you a member of AustCham in Singapore?

I’m originally from Melbourne and have only recently relocated to Singapore in Dec 2020. Being a member of AustCham allows me to connect with fellow Australians living here and also understand better the challenges of the market.

Where are your favourite places to go to relax in Singapore?

I do like to be able to cycle along the east coast, however, look forward to being able to explore Singapore more as it opens up in 2022.

What are your predictions for the next 12 months?

I would expect the region to bounce back strongly in the next 12 months. Given most businesses now know their pain points, induced by the pandemic, this knowledge will allow businesses to look to a wider strategy, technology and automation solutions to allow significant growth.
