Shaw Wines is a family owned and run winery established in 1998 specialising in premium cool climate wines, estate grown these wines have had tremendous success in wine shows world wide.
Our Cabernets, Merlots and Shiraz have won numerous Trophies and Gold medals from wine shows in London , Vienna, San Fransisco etc including the Trophy for Australia’s Best Cabernet Sauvignon in the London Wine Show.
As a family we place great emphasis on the quality of the grapes we grow , we do not use herbicides or pesticides and allow the weeds to grow naturally around the vines to encourage habitat for beneficial insects, weed control in spring is by sheep grazing between the vines.
80% of a great wine is made in the vineyard and its by the attention and care of the vines that achieves this.
Shaw Wines has established a reputation in the region as the Premier must visit winery , our new cellar door is dedicated to ensuring a great experience for all visitors, this new structure has won the regions premier Tourism Award along with the Australian Excellence in Building award.
