What’s your role all about?

As TBH’s APAC Head of Technology & Program Management, I have led the business’ global ICT and Data Centre projects for the past 18 years. Having relocated from TBH’s Sydney office to our Singapore office in late 2019, one of my key motivations for relocating to Asia was to help export TBH’s 55 years’ experience into the Asian market and lead the region’s technology division. A key part of my role is about providing visibility and insight into a project and ensuring it has achieved the expected outcomes and objectives.

What’s the hot topic in your sector right now?

The technology sector in Asia is currently moving and growing at a very fast pace. The global pandemic has also increased the reliance on technology to support people’s daily activities such as work, education and various other day to day necessities.

TBH is well-positioned to partner with major technology providers to deliver the required network infrastructure, but also the technology innovation which will define how people live in the future.

Why are you a member of AustCham in Singapore?

It is a great way to stay connected with other Australian businesses, and through the networking events arranged by AustCham we hope to establish new local business connections in Singapore and throughout Asia.

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now where would you go on holiday?

Probably going back to Sydney firstly, because I have not been back for almost one year and I miss my family and friends. After that, my husband and I would like to explore Asia, which was our original plan before COVID cancelled everyone’s travel plans.

Since travel hasn’t been an option for most of this year, what hidden gems have you discovered in Singapore?

I enjoy going for a walk around my neighbourhood at Tanjong Pagar, there are so many great restaurants and I am spoiled with choices from Japanese, Korean, European, and of course local favourites like chicken rice at Maxwell Hawker Center.
